Answer: four. The first station, named Highgate, opened in June 1907 and was then one of the northern terminals of the Charing Cross, Euston and Hampstead Railway. In 1939, the line was extended northwards, including the station which is now called Highgate, and the station by the Archway Tavern was renamed Highgate (Archway). This was later changed to Archway (Highgate), before becoming simply Archway.
